Summary
Located above a well is a stone-walled structure built into a terrace, attached to the southern external wall of Bugford Cottage. A small square recess is present within the wall. A pitcher pump once stood on the front southern side of the house.

A stone structure with a square recess is attached to the external wall of Bugford Cottage and is sited immediately above a well. Documentation records the cottage as late 17th century, therefore, the stone structure may be contemporary or later.
