One of two Inspection Chambers recorded in 2006 which is located at SX 45382 68921 and is associated with an Arsenic Flue (Site No. 28) at Gawton Mine. The other Inspection Chamber is Site No. 28.2. During this survey, two dog-legged returns with some brick elements were noted along its course, both surviving comparatively well, and probably representing the location of two former inspection chambers. The location of the Inspection Chamber is based on the Site Plan Figure No. 7. Other details: Site No. 28.1.
