Urmston, Ben, 2008, Avon Support Main, between Roborough and Houndall, near Plymouth, Devon. (Report - Geophysical Survey). SDV358939.

Taylor, S. R., 2009, Avon SWW Pipeline, Devon: Archaeological Mitigation Archive report, 12, Fig. 2 (Report - Assessment). SDV364052.

A programme of archaeological work was undertaken along the route of a 13.5km long water main from Roborough to Yondertown. A previous geophysical survey had identified a number of areas likely to contain archaeological deposits.
A bank 1.6m wide (1109) and a ditch, 1.55m wide and 0.2m deep, (1107) were recorded in the pipeline corridor of Area CP1. The bank and ditch were aligned north-south and were intersected by another ditch at right angles. No finds were recovered from the features but they are likely to represent medieval land divisions. Two parallel linear features on the same alignment were also recorded in the geophysical survey.
