Horse engine house depicted on the northern side of the barn at the northern end of the farmstead.

Behind the barn is a horse engine house. This was originally open-sided but is now infilled and the roof raised from its original height. The overhead beam for the engine is now missing. It is uncertain if it is contemporary with the barn, although the fact that the barn has a proper threshing floor suggests that it may be later.
