Summary

Full description
Child, P., 2002, Countryside Stewardship: South Wilborough Farm, Kingskerswell (Correspondence). SDV366722.
On either side of the bank barn which forms the northern end of the northern farmyard are two linhays. They appear to be contemporary with the barn, that is later 19th century in date. Attached to the southern end of the eastern linhay is another building which was apparently last used as a carthourse stable. Mangers survive along the eastern wall; these are partly of brick and maybe pre War. The original function of the building is unclear. There are blocked doorways in the north and south walls and straight joints in the east and west walls. The style of the roof is 18th century but it is now clad with modern slates.
