An open-fronted cart shed suggested by an inscription on a stone in the south wall to date to 1900. The rear and gable walls are built of rubble stone and the open front is supported on reused timber beams which have 17th century mouldings. The king post type of roof structure is typical of the late 19th century. It is currently clad with corrugated iron.
It is a typical example of this type of cart shed which are mostly late in date as carts were a relatively late introduction into the Devon countryside.
