Full description
Devon County Council, 1838-1848, Tithe Mosaic, approximately 1838-1848 (Cartographic). SDV349431.
The Witheridge Tithe Map shows a building to the south of the present farmhouse.

Comparison with the Tithe Map shows the house to have been rebuilt in its present location.

The farmhouse is a late example of the double-pile, central entrance type of farmhouse which was built from circa 1700 onwards until the First World War. It typically has sash windows, a hipped roof and central gable chimney stacks.
