Milestone marked opposite the London Inn, 13 miles from Barnstaple.

Jenkinson, T., 2012, B3217/UC/B3042 Barnstaple to Crediton via High Bickington, Labbetts Cross and Morchard Bishop (Un-published). SDV366881.

Site visit 26th August 2005. Milestone in the centre of Burrington, outside the post office. Inscribed 13/BARUM. It is a small, tombstone type milestone set up c.1879 to commemorate the closure of the turnpike. It is in poor condition with a badly worn legend.
