Modern boundary stone inscribed O.B.B/1935. The stone which marked the boundary of Okehampton Borough Bounds was located in old Hatherleigh Road, outside the entrance to Cornhill, embedded in the bank on the east side of the road. It was found to be in poor condition when surveyed in May 2007 with a large crack through the centre. It was subsequently hit by a verge cutter early in 2008 and reduced to rubble.
