Full description

Jenkinson, T., 2007-2011, Okehampton to Great Torrington A386/UC (Report - Survey). SDV347988.
Site visit 12th April 2007. Boundary stone on the 386 about 1/2 mile north-west of the turn to Inwardleigh. Set on a concrete plinth on the verge by a sharp bend in the road, on the west side of the road by Preston Moor clayworks. The stone, which dates from c.1822 is in fair condition. The inscription reads Here Ends/Inwardleigh/Parish. There is also an OS benchmark on the face.
