Site visit 12th April 2007. Milestone on the A386 about 50m south of Friar's Hele Cross, on west side of the road. The stone which dates to the c.1820s is inscribed 'To/Torrington/10/Miles'. It is in good condition, having been rescued from the bank and the legend repainted early in 2007. However, it is in a dangerous location, at risk from impact.
