HER Number:MDV13631
Name:Possible hut circle on Brent Hill

Summary

Within the Iron Age earthworks on the summit of Brent Hill, lying south-east of the chapel ruins midway between them and the earthwork, is a circular depression. This is about 7 metres diameter with a flat level area in the centre. This is faintly suggestive of a hut platform but the outcrops of natural rock on the uphill side could also indicate small quarry.
