Summary

This possible barrow lies in the flat valley floor of the River Harbourne, south of Dockwell Farm. It is 0.5m high and appears to consist of small stones (partly turfed over) with a diameter of about 5.5m. The field is now Ordnance Survey no. 20 but in the 1843 South Brent tithe apportionment was much subdivided. The barrow was in field no. 140 'Blackwood Park'.

(March 1978) SX 70006366 Barrow. Dockwell. This possible barrow lies in the flat valley floor of the River Harbourne, south of Dockwell Farm. It is 0.5m high and appears to consist of small stones (partly turfed over) with a diameter of about 5.5m. The field is now Ordnance Survey no. 20 but in the 1843 South Brent tithe apportionment was much subdivided. The barrow was in field no. 140 'Blackwood Park'.
(October 1978) this site has been examined by T. Greeves who considered it to be a possible barrow.
