Cider pound, Leigh Grange. Visited December 1978. This cider pound, now at Leigh Grange but brought from East or West Leigh in the parish of Harberton, is the only one found in South Brent that is not granite. It is very crudely made in reddish sandstone and is not a perfect circle. The central boss is level with the sides. Diameter 1.4 metres, external thickness 0.37 metres, thickness of wall approx 0.14 metres, diameter centre boss 0.22 metres.
It is filled with earth and therefore the depth of the annular trough cannot be measured. It lies on the east of the house.
