A bronze palstave was found by Mr C. Willis on the Approach Golf Course in February 1980. It was found within an area of rough grassland, circa 15-17 centimetres below the ground, about 150 metres from the cliff edge. The palstave has been examined by S.M. Length 14.2 centimetres, width 6.0 centimetres. Donated to Torquay Museum.

Pearce, S. M., 1983, The Bronze Age Metalwork of South Western Britain, 435 (Monograph). SDV341822.
