A tollhouse on the road between South Molton and Rackenford. A low rectangular one storeyed building with a low pitched roof. In the centre of the front and projecting into the road, is a semi-octagonal or rounded porch with a door on the front and a window on each side; also 2 windows on the main wall of the house.

Single storey toll house with a low pitched roof on the road between South Molton and Rackenford. It has a rounded porch projecting into the road (Sheldon 1933).

On the B3221 Tiverton-South Molton road 1.75 miles north-west of Rackenford at the junction with the minor road to Creacombe. This single storey toll house, on the north side of the road, has a round central projection with the door now blocked up.

Former toll house thought to have been built in the 19th century for the South Molton Turnpike Trust. It is a single storey building with a projecting central front bay and two wings under a slate roof. The original front doorway has been replaced with a window.
