Brown does not give the location of Flete Well. However, there is a well marked on the 1880s-1890s 25 inch Ordnance Survey map in a field named as Fleet Hiull (616) on the Tithe Map and Apportionment. This is also given as the location of a deserted settlement, there being earthworks visible in the field.
