Greeves, T., 1981, Boundary Stones (Worksheet). SDV214935.

Group of granite boundary stones within Yardworthy newtake. All have an 'S' incised on one face. They apparently mark the boundary of the Stark estate in 1911. The Starks lived at Ford Park, about 1 mile north of Yardworthy. The land was bought by the Duchy in about 1918. (09/03/1990) The four upright moorland blocks each inscribed with the letter 'S' on one face lie at SX 6761/8428, SX 6757/8432, SX 6753/8436 and SX 6745/8429 respectively. Their function is as decribed by Greeves (1981).
The letters measure approximately 0.15m high.
