A. Hamlin recovered a quantity of pot (late 16th - early 18th century) probably associated with the occupation of earlier buildings on the site of the present farmhouse. Sherds included north devon gravel-tempered ware, donyatt slipware, and imported stoneware (moorhouse).(grid ref supplied evidently wrong. Location of 'farmhouse' unknown (dmg)).
