Russell, P., 1955, Fire Beacons in Devon, 288 (Article in Serial). SDV336138.
Fire Beacon Hill, marked on Ordnance Survey 6 inch map at 235 meters elevation. Alternative name 'Tower Hill' suggesting that there may have been a stone beacon as at Culmstock. Possible Elizabethan beacon. Other details: Appendix A.
