Full description

Haynes, R. G., 1970, Vermin Traps and Rabbit Warrens on Dartmoor, 160 (Article in Serial). SDV166302.

Ditsworthy Warren; Haynes' vermin trap number 3. On the north side of Gutter Tor amid massive clitter. Not very obvious. Excavated in 1962. Removal of turf revealed the stone base with three shallow depressions indicating the positions of the slate shutters. On the north side a rust stain indicated where iron fitting had been. On the south side are the remains of two slate shutters drilled for suspension. The two short side stones were found a little distance away.
