Full description

REED, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV1862.

The court pew at the e. End of the n. Aisle is enclosed by a large early jacobean screen, which includes portions of an old rood screen the cresting is carved with scenes from the books of genesis and exodus (reed).

Gabriel, A. + Fletcher, B., Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV37882.

There was also a rood screen running from the rood screen staircase (still visible) across the church, dividing the nave from the chancel. This screen was probably destroyed in the reformation, and now only two panels remain, hidden at the base of the court pew facing the chancel (gabriel + fletcher).
