Full description

Ordnance Survey, 1880s, Ordnance Survey (Cartographic). SDV848.

Almost 24m square pond formed by a 6m wide moat with an opening in the eastern corner with a tree on the centre island. Other details: Also on OS 25" (1906) map.

This pond is a garden landscape feature associated with Kentisbeare House (see PRN 54833). It is not shown on the 1842 Kentisbeare Tithe Map. The feature lines up with the view to the southwest from Kentisbeare House.
