Summary
Stone marking the south-western end of the westernmost row in the Drizzlecombe group (Worth's Row 17/Row A). Discovered recumbent by the Dartmoor Exploration Committee (measured as 3.78m long), it was re-erected in July 1893 following an excavation to locate the socket hole. Measures 1.8m by 0.4m and stands 3.2m high (1979 visit).

Drizzlecombe group. Menhir at south-west end of Row A. Measures 3.78m long as fallen, 3.15m as erected.

(01/02/1979) Standing stone at the south-west end of the double stone row measures 1.8 m by 0.4 m and is 3.2 m high. Surveyed at 1:10 000 on PFD and at 1:2500 for AO Records.

(12/03/1993) When originally surveyed by Worth, the blocking stone was recumbent, however, as a result of the interest generated by his survey, the stone was re-erected in July 1893, following a small scale excavation by Baring-Gould and others to locate the original socket hole.
