Hut 66. A small single phase hut circle 4.40m internal diameter. Wall of rubble construction with vertical inner face. The entrance was a simple gap 70cms wide with a porch and entrance to the east end. The interior contained a ring of post holes, together with a number of post and stake holes forming no pattern. A drain passed underneath the house wall and enclosure in to a small sump. Charcoal from the drain produced a radiocarbon date of 1310 +- 80 bc (radiocarbon years). Charcoal from a hollow (probably eavesdrip) of the hut to the west produced a radiocarbon date of 1110 +- 80 bc (radiocarbon years). One potsherd, 3 saddle querns, an anvil, whetstone, and smoothed pebbles, together with a slickstone and a flint were recovered (wainwright + smith).
