Full description

SX98NW/45, Untitled Source (Report - Survey). SDV292324.

Vis=31/1/1982 (griffith). The exeter canal broadens out considerably at this point, and the remains of a quay with stone facing are apparent on the western side, 'mooring posts' are shown on the os 25" plan (surveyed 1936) but these are no longer visible. At the southern end of the quay is a group of 4 limekilns (sx98nw/45).
