Earthwork banks are visible on digital images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2017. The earthworks comprise linear banks, circa 4.5m wide and northwest to southeast and northeast to southwest aligned, which define three contiguous rectilinear enclosures, with a circular ringed enclosure, circa 15m diameter, visible within the northwest enclosure. They do not correspond with any features shown in this location on the mid-19th century Parish Tithe Map, although an area of woodland is shown on this map. The earthworks are interpreted as the remains of a post-medieval or 19th century lime kiln which had passed out of use by the mid-19th century.
