Lady glenorchy's chapel, which opened in 1776, provided a convenient meeting place for exmouth evangelicals.


Welch, E., 1998, Lady Glenorchy’s Church at Exmouth, 15-21 (Article in Serial). SDV340453.

A Methodist church constructed in 1776 in Exmouth and funded by Lady Glenorchy. It was opened by Sir Harry Trelaway, a Methodist preacher and its first preacher was Robert Winton, brought from Scotland by Lady Glenorchy.
