Full description
Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV124906.
Des=t. Greeves telephone conversation with mrs. Hawker(5/5/1977). Cotleigh post office. Found 12-18" below surface of field where hedges have been knocked down. The field was originally an orchard. The slag is smooth on top and rusty on the underside. No associated finds. Mrs hawker will send specimens to exeter. She will be pulling down a shed for the jubilee bonfire and they will be looking for anything else (greeves).

Site vist 21st October 1992. Samples taken to Exeter Museum but it appears these were not kept.
