The Ordnance Survey Grid Reference and the Pearce Grid Reference of SS935015 are incorrect. This puts the location in the English Channel.


Pearce, S. M., 1973, Three Prehistoric Implements from Devon, 57-8 (Article in Serial). SDV341660.

Flint axe from Thorverton 99 millimetres long with a maximum width of 51 millimetres. The axe is of brownish white flint and of a wide flat form. The Grid Reference is given as SX935015 which appears to be in the English Channel. Other details: Figure 5 No 16.
