The Ordnance Survey Grid Reference and the Pearce Grid Reference of SS935015 are incorrect. This puts the location in the English Channel.

Flint axe from Thorverton 99 millimetres long with a maximum width of 51 millimetres. The axe is of brownish white flint and of a wide flat form. The Grid Reference is given as SX935015 which appears to be in the English Channel. Other details: Figure 5 No 16.
