1243, Untitled Source (Migrated Record). SDV49064.

East stoodleigh barton. This farm may represent a survival of the domesday manor of "stollei", according to reichel. It was then held by the bishop of coutance and the early descents are given. In the tax roll for 1302 it is called "estoodlegh", and is also mentioned in testa de nevil (1243) (reichel).
