Full description

Reichel, O. J., 1913, The Hundred of Stanborough or Dippeforda in the Time of 'Testa de Nevil' AD 1243, 189,204 (Article in Serial). SDV336180.

North Upton farm, Thurlestone. The site of an early medieval farmstead which, in 1086, existed as a Virgate of the Manor of Thurlestone. A Saxon estate held by an unreleased thane before the conquest. Various descents before 1428 are given.
