Full description
Rea, C. F., 1924, The Bastewalls of Totnes, 203 (Article in Serial). SDV174635.
A garden called 'Lechewellhay' was said in 1433 to lie between the garden of the lepers on the east side and the way leading from the Bastewall towards the 'Lechewell' on the west side. Possibly on the site of the present-day orchard.
