Full description
Prince, J., 1810, Worthies of Devon, 191 (Monograph). SDV16199.
Pengelly, W., 1887, Prince's "Worthies of Devon", and the "Dictionary of National Biography", 307 (Article in Serial). SDV16197.
Dean Cary, who died at the parsonage at Shobrook on February 2nd.1680 (old style) was buried at Clovelly. Monument to his memory erected by his son. Latin epitaph quoted by Prince.
