The manor house of Braunton Abbots was at Park Farm.
Exeter Museums Archaeological Field Unit, 1994, Braunton Great Field Management Study (Report - non-specific). SDV341059.
In 1229, two thirds of Braunton was given to the Abbey of Cleeve in Somerset, forming the estate of Braunton Abbots. The manor house was at Park, and held land east of the village, outside the present Great Field.
