Full description

Clarke, K. M., 1919, The Baptismal Fonts of Devon. Part 6 (Article in Serial). SDV56166.

In parish church. Font has a cushion bowl and an inverted cushion for a base. On western and southern sides it has been cut away - probably mutilated - to make way for a pew. There is a round moulding at foot of the bowl and on the eastern face an incised greek cross of local red stone, cream washed.
