Reichel, O. J., 1915, The Hundred of Exminster in Early Times, 204,227,234 (Article in Serial). SDV285943.

'Combe Cellars' at Combeinteignhead was probably the site of the Domesday estate of Holcomma. Otherwise known as Holcombe. Here it was recorded there were four salt-workers. The cellars probably refer to Salinaria, or Salterns.
