Rose-Troup, F., 1942, Crediton Charters of the Tenth Century, 237-61 (Article in Serial). SDV38133.

A ford on the boundary between the Parishes of Clannaborough and Bow mentioned in a Charter of AD739 drawing up the limits of 'Cridie' which Rose-Troup quotes as 'Dyth-ford' and places near Welmstone.
