Reichel, O. J., 1928 - 1938, The Hundred of Black Torrington in Early Times, 200,238 (Article in Monograph). SDV2105.

East Youlstone, or Yeowellston, was Alwynelancauele in Domesday. It was held by Ralf de Pomeria. Before the conquest it belomnged to Ledwy or Letwy.
