(Visited 14/03/2008) A dispersed group of hut circles on the moderate south-west slopes of Yar Tor to the north-east of Dartmeet. Although mostly free-standing, the huts are all associated with enclosures which are in turn probably associated with the reaves of the Dartmeet system which run across the hill.
(SX 6764 7390) Sited within a 0.02 hectare enclosure attached to a reave. The hut circle comprises a stony turf-covered ring with several orthostats in situ. It has a level interior and is built into a moderate slope. Diameter 6.4 metres, walls 0.8 metres thick, 0.7 metres high.
Ordnance Survey, 2011, MasterMap (Cartographic). SDV346129.
Hut circle is shown on MasterMap slightly to the north of the English Heritage survey, which has been used for digitising this site (as this also shows the surrounding enclosure).
