At tor royal, princetown, a guide stone that used to stand on the course of the old track from tavistock to ashburton was found during demolition of the old farmhouse to have been used as a lintel (prowse + worth). Vis=29/4/1989 (rchme) the whereabouts of this guide stone was not known by mr crozier, who has been the tenant of tor royal for the past 10 years (fletcher).
