Vis=30/5/1974 (os) just below a hill crest and only visible when viewed from below. Probably a barrow, but too far gone to be certain (nmr, citing os).

There is a mound shown on East Combe Common on the OS 2inch map.
Mound on east combe common. Quite small, stands in pasture field, which at one time must have been arable, as the mound appears to be almost levelled by ploughing. No trace of surrounding ditch. Diameter 10 metres, height 0.2 metres. Site visit, 20/03/1951

A barrow is visible on aerial photographs (p1) as a low earthwork mound and enclosing cropmark ditch with an external diameter of roughly 21m. It has been digitally plotted as part of the National Mapping Programme.
