Summary
On a cuc air photograph, a double ditched enclosure is visible as a cropmark north of lake. The inner enclosure is roughly square, very approximately 70m along the side, and the outer enclosure is sub-circular, with one side not visible, possibly removed by a lane. Very approximately 100m diameter. Both cropmarks - presumably ditches - show faint possible entrances to the east (griffith).

Not visible on 1947 raf ap (fmg)vis=22/4/1991 (simpson) the cropmark lies on a gentle west facing slope of hill on a slight e-w ridge so that the ground falls away from the cropmark to the n and s. No earthworks are visible (dprfp).
