'Stone Cross (Remains of)' shown on OS 25" against the southern boundary of the graveyard of St Alban's Parish Church in Beaworthy.

Granite, no sign of inscription, a much battered stone. Shaft tapers upwards.

Cross in the churchyard. Type A. A roughly shaped cross of rectangular section rather battered. It was brought from Ashbury Cross, on Broadbury Down, c1880 perhaps moved for safety reasons from Ashbury into the churchyard. Cross stands by the path leading up to the porch of the church. No trace of socket stone is visible. Height 1.5m, arm width 0.52m, shaft measures 0.34 x 0.23m max, 0.28 x 0.10m min.

Stone Cross situated in the churchyard. "A roughly shaped cross of rectangular section, rather battered. It was brought from Ashbury Cross on Broadbury Down." (Ancient Stone Crosses of Devon Pt 1 330 Masson Phillips, E.)

This cross stands by the path leading up to the porch of the church. It is of the early type, classified as 'A' by E M Phillips whose description is correct. No trace of a socket stone is visible. The cross stands to a height of 1.5 metres. The stubby arms, which are damaged, project only 1 decimetre from the sides of the shaft. The cross is crudely cut from moorland granite. At SX46109942, 14.1m S of porch and 1.7m from path. Set into boundary bank of churchyard and clearly visible on entrance to church. Roughly hewn simple Latin Cross, made from a single piece of stone. Rectangular in section, 0.42m by 0.25m at base. Overall height 1.5m. Arms 0.52m wide.

A roughly shaped cross stands at the entrance to the churchyard. Rectangular section, rather battered. It was brought from Ashbury Cross, on Broadbury Down.
Height 1.5 metres, Span 0.50 metres.
