The early history and descents of the manor are given.


Oliver, M. F. C., 1951, Roborough. Its Manors and Bartons, 248 (Article in Serial). SDV232.

Domesday manor of Fedaven was held by Goscelm in 1086, and by Edloueif and Eddeva in the time of King Edward. There is now no trace of a manor house but Oliver identifies the name with Villavin which attaches to six farmsteads or dwellings in the vicinity, namely Tracey's, Fowler's, and Alford's Villavin and East, West and Middle Villavin.
