Braddick, C. E., 1953, The Port of Topsham, 27 (Article in Serial). SDV23368.

A smithy's shop stood on the river side of a road, to the north of the Lighter Inn. Occupied in 1850 by Ananias Moore, some of whose pumps are still used in Topsham, bearing his name.
