Williams, H. F. F., 1954, North Tawton: A Devon Market Town, 125 (Article in Serial). SDV224896.

Site of a house belonging to the Gostwyck family. It became an inn, the Gostwyck Arms. in 1895. It burnt down in 1917 but the name survives for a garage near the site.
