A large earthwork pit and spoilheap are visible on aerial photographs taken from 1947 onwards and on images derived from lidar data captured between 1998 and 2014. The visible earthworks extend further to the north than those depicted as part of a large quarry complex associated with the Lime and Cement works on the 19th century maps, but seem to have reached their fullest extent by the 1950s-1960s when they are depicted on OS maps as disused. One small earthwork pit is visible on aerial imagery just to the west of those depicted on the mapping, and this is the only element that has been transcribed.
