Vis=29/1/1953 (doe) 17/18th century. Building shows dutch influence - possibly built when dutch engineers were working on the canal in late 17th century. Square red brick house, with 4 chimneys, one at each corner. Later sash windows with flazing bars. One first floor bay overlooking canal. Steep pitch slate roof (doe).
