Field 210 is named as Windmill Field on the Exminster Tithe Apportionment.

The windmill stood on a 90 metre high hill 0.5km to the east of Shillingford.

The site of a former windmill at Shillingford, Exminster. This windmill may have been working as a grist mill in 1835 although the Tithe Map and Apportionment only record a Windmill Field. The ruins of a windmill were noted by the Ordnance Survey in 1888, and the OS map of 1948 shows and Old Windmill. The last stones were ploughed out in 1940's.
